Technical information needed!

Friends,Some years ago I purchased a Kent Panel Control controller that I never used!

It is model:- KFPS/FC input 16 volt AC, Kentrol Feedback.
There are bits of wire sticking out plus an external switch and I would like to utilise it this time!Anyone any ideas as to the wiring set-up?Regards Peter.

They have been out of business now for a couple or more years. Even the new firm that stepped in has closed down.

I assume you don't have any instructions that would have come with it ( unless you purchased it secondhand) so you may have to ask on a larger forum like RMweb which has over 18,000 members.

Of which only about 8 are accepting of newbies.

Thankyou,I knew of the demise of the companies after a search.
As to the unit, it is brand new and unused, I originally purchased it because the old Triang controllers were on their last legs and would eventually cease functioning!

The instructions have gone the way of all flesh because I have moved and inevitably something goes astray!
I will try another posting elsewhere, I have just joined the "N" gauge forum so perhaps someone there has some ideas?
Regards Peter.

Give me a couple of days and I should be able to dig something up.  Those KPC controllers were the best at the time and I still have not found anything to beat them (You dont want to sell it by any chance?)

OK, found the instructions  - nice to know that the keep everything mentality does eventually come in useful.  The instructions I have are for the Kentrol Feedback - Model KFT & KFTS.  I remember your is a KFPS, but I suspect they are probably similar and in fact the difference may be mine was a twin panel and your is a single unit.  Anyway, the red and black wires are the output to the track, the blue and yellow pair are the 16 V AC input and the switch is the feedback on/off.  If you put the flat of the switch at the 12:00 position then the feedback is off when the switch is also at 12:00.  The wires for the feedback switch are pink at the top (12:00) grey at the centre and white at the bottom.  You will need an dedicated transformer so that the overload on the controllers works properly.  I am still trying to find the details for the input transformer but I think it was a transformer rated at 18 or 20VA with a 16V output.  FYI I used a doorbell transformer, but I live in Canada.
I would post a copy of the instructions but I am scared silly by all these Copywrite laws.  So if you care to send me a private message with your e-mail, I will make a copy and send it to you on a "for personal use only" which i understand is acceptable to all the greedy gits out there.
Re the Model X controllers, I did consider them for my expansion but based on web feedback went with another brand.  I am totally not happy with the other brand but am reluctant to spend too much more money "experimenting"  However, I am planning to "experiment" with a hybrid DCC system.

James,Many thanks for your input.  I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards the transformer, I built my own with twin fused outlets with components from "All Components" 20 odd years ago which I am intending to use.
