These bridges are located just to the north of Wolverhampton north junction. In days past the GWR lines to Shrewsbury and Stafford Road works used these bridges. The painted one with the bow girders now carries the Oxley chord which links the Up and Down Wellington lines (via Stafford Road Jcn) to the Birmingham and Bushbury line. You can also see how the line passes through one of the arches of Wolverhampton viaduct. (The incinerator chimney (last photo) marks the site of Stafford Road shed).

Ah memories, walked that tow-path many times on my way from Low Level station to Oxley shed, but still haven't been on that section of cut, yet, with the narrow boat!!!
