I have a friend - not me; it's my friend - - who wants to put bespoke brass nameplates on a loco.

It's a UK thing I know, to have brass nameplates on locos; so I have no idea where to start looking.

Has anyone come across such a supplier?

Thanks, Pete.  Some good leads there.  I'l keep trawling through them.

In the meantime, if anyone here has actually had a bespoke nameplate made I would love to hear from you.

If all else fails, Max, I've made them before in plastic, coloured to look like dirty brass.

Hi Max,

I've bought some before from Fox transfers and can vouch for their quality. They have both 00 and N Gauge in stock but do not actually 'make' bespoke' plates so don't know if this link will be useful or not.

Sorry, Trevor.  I didn't see your post.

I'll see what Brian says.  It's always good to have a backup.  :thumbs
