Oooohh.....nice.I might even have a bash at one myself later on! I'll see how you get on with it first, though.I think its really good there's a choice of bricks and stone...very versatile, and much more challenging than the Metcalfe jobbies, not that there's anything wrong with them. I'm going to enjoy watching this one. ![]() Cheers,John.B. ![]() |

Hello Ron, This project looks really good. Perhaps you could tell me if the floor of the double-door entrance/exit is set at the generally accepted height of trains, or lorries? Could you, if possible, give an approximation on price, please. Good modelling, mate, Kind Regards, Michael Thornberry. |

Looking forward to this Ron. I think Scalescenes is a force to be reckoned with. I hope he expands his "Townscene" range ...........John, John - did you hear ? As JB said, they're far more complicated and time consuming than the Metcalfe/Superquick type of model but if you mix models from each range, you can create a truly unique and impressive scene. ____________________ 'Petermac |

I think John Dew has some on his layout - at least the fronts, but that firm also did the backs if memory serves me rightly. ____________________ 'Petermac |

What this Artful Antipodean doesn't tell you is that he has already shown himself more than capable of 'Scalescening', don't you remember the good job he did here............. http://yourmodelrailway.net/view_topic.php?id=6712&forum_id=101&highlight=sol+bridge I thought I'd blow his trumpet for him.....[whilst he goes to the loo {Shame on you Phill,}and/or takes one of his green pills, Nurse! We may as well help out on this thread anyhow, if he has gone to the loo those zimmer frames are a sod to move at times so could be gone for a while, ![]() ![]() Phill |

Looking forward to following your build. As an alternative to the OHP printed windows you can also use the following Brassmasters windows: Pack G - for the small office window Pack N or O - for the large arched windows Pack C - For the skylights. http://www.scalescenes.com/brassmasters/brassmasters_windows.pdf Yes I will be endeavouring to greatly expand the Townscenes range in the next couple of years (including a few more rural based structures). I am also working up a few concepts for low relief terraced house back scenes, several modeller have expressed an interest in this and I agree it would be an extremely useful kit. ____________________ John Wiffen Graphic Designer Scalescenes.com |

It is unfortunate John, that Brassmasters don't take credit cards or Paypal. Cheques from Aust to UK are not cheap. | |||||||||

Looking forward to this build Ron, I need to construct a long goodshed with several loading bays, Joining several kits together maybe the answer. Thanks for your message John(scalescenes) Backs of terraced houses would make a great model. Maybe a few taller 3 story brick based building backs. How many of us remember passing rows of these as we approached a mainline station. Regards, Derek |
