I know Marty took it (at least he set it up and ran) - is it possible to get some prints done ?

As long as you don't use it for commercial purposes (railway modelers dart board maybe) i am more than happy for copies to be made and distributed.
I'll email Alan a high res copy next week.

If you do intend to use it for commercial gain... My starting bid for royalties is 10%. hehehe

Are you back home Marty ?  If so, great to meet you both and full koalas heaped up for bringing your module - you deserve a cup for the greatest mileage clocked up by a module.  :thumbs

Hope you enjoyed your trip north - just got to wait for the credit card statement to come in now :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

As far as using the group shot for commercial purposes, I could maybe sell a copy to a health food shop showing what happens if you don't eat your corn flakes every morning.   You know the kind of thing - "Do you want to end up looking like this ?  No ?  Well come to our shop and buy something healthy" :cheers

And it's 4am Singapore/WA time and my body clock is refusing to adjust to the local timezone!
Doesn't help that the local garbage contractors are collecting and compacting the entire streets rubbish while parked underneath our bedroom window. Just as well they are cheerful about it, every now and then the entire team bursts into song!!!

Peter, that could be quite profitable! What are your terms!?!

Alan, just a thought, but you could add a strip along the bottom of the photo with the names of the members, so we'd be able to work out who was who as our memories fade...

I was going to include a list of names on the back of the mount that I am going to put the print in, rather than along the front of the print, that way you will be able to see of our young faces and also the text will be larger for those that need to read bigger writing :pedal

Petermac wrote (in the Facebook thread) : I think you always have to be careful what you put on any internet site - public or private.

If the site is private, the "powers that be" can still get access so it's perhaps best not to tell the world about how you got away with x million in income tax !!!:lol:

Which is why I don't think it's necessarily a good idea for members to post their addresses in this open thread...

Also, I should think Bob has many addresses already and I got a whole heap for the Matilda and Winston threads.

As I'm just a normal honest chap, I'd naturally never dream of using those addresses other than for the purpose they were given to me nor would I pass any of them on to anyone - not even on here. :It's a no no

I beat Marty and Tracy home then, by a few hours! I transited Singapore Friday night at 22.30 their time and arrived back at Penhayle Bay just over 24 hours ago. The body clock is taking time to adjust thanks to a bumpy flight preventing any sleep.

Great to see the line up and I'll have a copy please. The address is in a PM.

Many happy memories of a wonderful weekend. Not only a thoroughly enjoyable show but it was also an excellent chance to meet, greet and talk with many people who have only been computer faces (though "only" is a long way from doing these friendships justice) until now.

Hi all,

Can't everyone just print your own pictures by right clicking the imaging and "saving as" and take it down to your local Kmart or whatever? The cost here is about 20 cents (plus... depending on size and time etc) a print depending on size and whether you are prepared to look at other parts of the shop for a few minutes rather than load it onto one of us to print and mail?  I'm sure there is a similar price regime in other parts!

Just a thought which might save some angst about posting addresses etc...

Cheers

Trevor

That's fine Trevor, and to be honest would make my life a lot easlier, but more to the fact of all those that live in funny places like France, Austraila and Cornwall. :pedal:pedal

Exactly Owen.

I can perfectly easily "save as" and print here but probably not to the sort of quality Alan can manage.

I can also easily make an online donation to RNLI in respect of Alan's note regarding costs. I have a figure in mind but each of us is of course free to settle as our conscience determines.

Before this goes down another track.

I am happy to provide a high quality mounted print to all that would like one F.O.C.,  all I asked was if anybody wanted to donate anything then they could either direct to me or as Rick will do, it is up to you.

Of course you can right-click the image, that's why I haven't put copyright across it, Marty has given me the authority to print from his file.

Anybody else want one quest:

Oh yes, well since I am at the back and probably the farthest away, I'll draw the appropriate conclusion.:hmm

Alan - Just got back to Spain and am trying to catch up so I wonder if I am still in time for a photo. Rather than send it to one of those "funny" places, although Spain wasn't mentioned, could you send it for me to Yew Court Lodge, Chandlers Lane, Chandlers Cross, Hertfordhire, WD3 4NF. Many thanks.

Les
