Hullo. Reading Jeff's 'Gwent Rail' thread made me realise that I have got a suitable [possibly] picture for a disappearing viewpoint like the one he has featured in his very effective 'underbridge scene, so here it is. Should anyone think it useful and would prefer to have it in 2304x3072 instead of 600x800, drop me a pm. Cheers, Doug ![]() ____________________ 'You may share the labours of the great, but you will not share the spoil...' That should come in very handy for someone. Good photograph and easy to see how it would fit on a layout.

Bonjour, [That's French for 'Bonjour'......] It's Watchet, I wanted to visit and get some piccies before the new marina and flats complex takes the place of the old yard area in the next 12 months. Once one of the few genuinely unspoilt original villages left on that coast. Did you know that a very rich iron-ore seam was exploited at the top of the hill overlooking the village, and exported across the Bristol Channel to Welsh steel works via a cable railway????? Huge railway history there, and The Bell serves lovely beer. To see a real 1900s port as it was, you'll have to hurry, the WSR station is a treasure. ____________________ 'You may share the labours of the great, but you will not share the spoil...' I've got 3 corners to fill so that picture also stands a good chance of being used. Doug, you have a PM. | |||||||||
