Thought this site may be worth noting for newer members of the club who may not have read references to it before.( I only came across it today)
There is a good selection of card kits and the downloads are free - donate if you are happy with the products.

I don't appear to be able to open these downloads Dave - I tried it with Firefox and Explorer but it just constantly reverted to "Save File" ..................... :???:

They are compressed files Peter, needing a zip file opener programme, such as the ones suggested on the home page. I've used 7Zip before without problems, which was a free download.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi Peter,
As Bill said you have to extract the files once the download has completed. Windows 11 has an "extract all" opinion when you right click on the file.

Cheers

I'll give it another go but I didn't see an option to unzip.  On the other hand, if memory serves me right,  my windows 10 doesn't have winzip installed.  I'll have a loom at your 7zip Bill.

Peter, Windows 10 should have a built in zip/unzip program. Save the file, then right-click on ot and look for something like "extract to ..." (it may not be that exact wording).

Yes, I've tried that Jeff but it still reverts to "save file".  I've now got inaccessible 65 copies of "Primrose Cottage" ............... :mutley

I have the same problem trying to circumvent the block on Alan's weekly jigsaw on this desktop.  Maybe something isn't installed properly or my virus checker is over suspicious ..................

I'll crack it eventually ............. ;-)

Hi Peter,
1. Use the following link

https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/breezip-free-rar-zip-extractor/9pb13jl37zv4?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

2. and download Breezip.

3.  Breezip should self install

I have Windows 11 so it looks different on my screen but it should be available on your programs screen

4.  Open Breezip and find your file  OR right click on the RAR file and use Open with

5.. The screen should then offer you the choice of extracting the file as a PDF which you should be able to handle...

Let me know how you go with it!

Cheers

Trevor

Thanks Trevor but I admit I'm not that bothered about his kits - it was only mild interest that prompted me to look.

I've looked at what he has and, having seen his original offerings some time ago, I'm perfectly happy to stick with Scalescenes.  No point in duplicating unnecessarily....................

If I'm not careful, I'll end up doing what I did with my last computer - clutter it up with seldom, if ever, used programmes which I eventually wondered why they were there in the first place.

Petermac, not sure how big your PC is - my hard drive is 931Gb with 824 GB free & I have tons of programmes - a couple I may only use once a year.
My Documents folder has about nearly 6900 files.
