Hi all.    Today I decided to look at the real thing, I watched a video online it was a 1950’s film typically of the time. There was a lopsided lamp fixed against the wall, and that is why it was lopsided, but I espied a regular electric lamp within, not at all prototype. Best wishes Kevin

There is always a link Kevin - find it in the URL bar at the top of the web page.

Hi Barry.  Thank you for your reply. But, I am still a thicko when it comes down to “URL’s” etc. and I am not much better with wiring pointwork as you have witnessed. Best wishes Kevin

Hi Ron.  Thank you for your reply. I am still a bit of a thicko with my iPad, and it does take an age with one finger bashing away at the keyboard. Best wishes Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I did a search as you suggested – Is this the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT-b-YB6DK0

and is the lamp pictured near the end of the video?

Gordon :-)

Hi Gordon.   I went through the video and found a number, I think? W Huntley Archive Film 1117, the lamp appeared near the end. Best wishes
