Hi All.   If I should live so long???  I would like to do a video once I get some scenery and life on my plank. One of my previous hobbies was photography with a proper camera and flash, but it would seem that the best way, light permitting, to take a video and publish it on YMRC. Would some kind modeller please advise me, if I am correct so far, about extra lighting. ( Sunlight is the obvious answer, but, I don’t want to advertise my project).  Best wishes Kevin

Hi Kevin, I find LED arrays like in the link, rechargeable battery simiklar to those used in cameras; also comes in handy in place of a torch for finding those bits that invariably fall into dark corners

Hi Mike.  Thank you for your reply. I will have to study this “ new technology “ which is nothing like real photography. I will have plenty of time with track record on scenery.      Best wishes Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Why don't you concentrate on your plank with the scenery, coal yard, etc and then get your cousin's son, the one who showed you how to take video on your iPhone, to take the video and post it on YMRC for you?

Would be much easier for you and you can just focus on the railway.

Bill
