Back in 2010 I put this up and several poor souls had so little to fill their waking moments that they were kind enough to respond.. As I'm ballasting again, herewith a reminder! http://yourmodelrailway.net/view_topic.php?id=6631&highlight=doofervac Doug [ex-Dooferdog] ____________________ 'You may share the labours of the great, but you will not share the spoil...' We have one of those excellent Ryobi "Dustbuster" type hand vacuums with Li battery from their range of interchangeable tools. I bought a 2nd shell, minus the battery which I keep solely for recovering ballast, flock and other scenic materials. Very convenient as compact and cord / hose free and the capture zone makes product recovery and cleaning very easy.
