Hi All. When gluing scalescenes print off sheets to stick to blank card, I read about using Pritt, it wasn’t too bad at first? But now, it will still work and sometimes it not slide across the paper/card. Any advice. Best wishes Kevin

I've tried many of the glue sticks Kevin - some work fine, others don't. I think, to be fair, Pritt is probably the best for the job although naturally, it's probably the most expensive !!! Re sliding over the card, my experience is that the card does need to have some kind of "bite" - i.e. it's not so good on super-smooth card. I suppose it also has a shelf life but not sure what that is. I used to buy my card (grey board), 1mm and 2mm thick, from a UK wholesaler in A1 size - their name escapes me just now - but last time I chacked, they wouldn't supply direct to the public. A pity because a) it was large size and b) much cheaper than art/craft shop prices. ____________________ 'Petermac |

Hi Petermac. Thank you for your reply. I thought and still think that Pritt-stick are the best. Maybe it depends on storage? and temperatures? Years ago at school we had a big bottle of glue (gloy?) That was thrown around the classroom. Personally I find Pritt to be a bit too stiff and that it does not slide along the card or paper very well, I now use the cheapo glue sticks from Poundland, 3 sticks for a £1

Hi Andy. Thank you for your reply. That is exactly my point. I did at one time purchase a lot of stuff from one of the many £1.00 shops in Peckham, some of it was surprisingly good. Best wishes Kevin

Hi Doug Thank you. As it so happens I have a wallpaper seam roller, that I use for getting at the bottom of a tube of anything, ie paint, glue, etc. As for creased paper brickwork I never thought about that. Best wishes Kevin
