Anyone building Scalescenes kits will have experienced the pain of trying to make windows. For quite sme time Brassmasters have made etched wiondows available that have been design specifically for Scalescenes: http://www.scalescenes.info/resources/brassmasters_windows.pdf I have used these extensively on 4mm buildings and they are high quality. I dropped Brassmasters an email about these windows in 7mm. Interestingly the response was that they would do them if there was demand. I have modeled Scalescenes windows for 3D printing. A number of them are available at Shapeways in OO scale. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/modelrail?section=Windows&s=0 At the moment these are mostly available in OO scale, with some at N Scale. If there was significant demand, I could go through and re-scale for 7mm. Hi Peter, those windows look really good, but I didn't know about them.  John said he would have a think over the holiday and I've asked about specific windows for the terraced houses.What I'm trying to do is get a feel for what people are doing about 7mm windows, there must be modelling going on. Having experimented with several Scalescenes buildings in 7mm, I think they are about as good as it gets. John ____________________ John |
