I rarely update programmes like Adobe, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...however I gave in some months ago and updated Adobe Reader and adopted Windows 10, thereafter had problems getting sizes right when zooming and marquee selecting bits of Scalescenes etc, same in Epson Scan, despite 'original size', 100%, borders to zero and so on, things were fractionally too small. Whole sheets of Scalescenes and scans of A4 subjects seemed O.K., quite a puzzle. Today, under the print 'set-up' dialogue I realised there was an extra tick box 'Shrink when larger than paper size'. Unticking it solved the problem. I think being a little over generous in selecting the width of, say, a roof panel fools the print programme into thinking the whole selection needs to be printed regardless of the size setting, and shrinks it to fit into A4 proportions from the tray. Don't know how many of you cut and crop bits of Scalescenes stuff, but do bear in mind if you too have some slightly small print outs. I have not used Adobe PDF Reader for years, I use Foxit Reader. It may be worth trying it, you can leave Adobe installed and choose which one you want as default or just right click the pdf file and choose open with and select which reader you want to use. ____________________ Cheers Andy |
