Although a 7mm modeller, I have an extensive Hornby Dublo 3 rail railway that runs around the outside of my office. There are an almost constant stream of books and magazines arriving at our house and as the wife observed "starting our own extensive railway library are we?" I didn't want to add another mag to the pile! BUT, having taken possession of the Hornby magazine yearbook No3 I was so pleased I did. The pictures are large enough to see all kinds of things from loco build, building build and layout scenic in detail. Sometimes a single picture of size and quality is worth more than a tedious "How I done it" article and this book certainly does that. It covers most scales, several layouts and various techniques selected from the years magazines. I was so impressed that, (you've guessed it!), I have tracked down and purchased Nos 1 to 6. I can thoroughly recommend them for inspiration and ideas to develop your own railway. | |||||||||

"the wife observed "starting our own extensive railway library are we?" Divorce her! It will create more room for the books. Terry |
