Don't put the lid on immediately after steam cleaning the innards of a tank wagon


Oops at Poole December 2004; thou shalt not change the points until the loco is clear!


I've heard of snow blowers but ... ... ...   two jet engines and an RAF refuelling bowser on a flat truck


Installing a precast concrete bridge - and the wagon it came on.


Spam can chain driven valve gear oil baths tended to soak the boiler lagging sometimes resulting in a slight conflagration, hence the foam bath.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said that a Pixie wanted for GBH was believed to have escaped the county by train.

I've always wondered how signalmen could keep all those levers straight in their heads.  I'd get flummoxed very quickly and much mayhem would result.

That horse powered shunting is almost ironic, seeing as that is a mark 1 horse box the horse is shunting!!
