I'm having difficulty finding a supplier for fine lines which can be burnished onto paintwork (like the old Letraset products). I've looked at an outfit called Master Models or similar and they have some transfers but not in gold. I can use a bow pen OK but it's fiddly and slow. Any ideas, folks? Any help appreciated. ____________________ http://dddioramas.webs.com/ 11 + 2 = 12 + 1 |

Thanks, Bob. I've e-mailed them to see if there is a UK supplier. ____________________ http://dddioramas.webs.com/ 11 + 2 = 12 + 1 |

MRI are a retailer in Canada - very good too. HMRS transfers are excellent: http://www.hmrs.org.uk/transfers/index.php They are available at many UK retailers. Another method I've read about is to obtain some blank transfer sheet and paint boiler bands onto that with your lining pen - that is, if HMRS don't do the lining you need. Thank you John - just what I was looking for. Meth fix is just ideal. Just got to find some in stock at a retailer. Great! ____________________ http://dddioramas.webs.com/ 11 + 2 = 12 + 1 |

DD, are waterslide transfers of any use? If so I suggest you try Fox Transfers as they have an extensive range. Terry |

Thanks, Terry. The carrier film on waterslide transfers makes the job more difficult. Especially using very fine lines. Using meths means there is no carrier film. Thanks anyway. ____________________ http://dddioramas.webs.com/ 11 + 2 = 12 + 1 |
