I think the road is a kids go-cart track Marty. They do get a bit over competitive at times.

Had a nice visitor to Plymouth this afternoon, with a repeat tomorrow lunchtime. It was No. 46100 'Royal Scot' with Class 57 No. 57316. Herewith todays offerings.

Wednesday 27th April 2016. Great Britain 9. Nos 46100 'Royal Scot' & Class 57 No. 57316. All taken at Plymouth North Road as the GB9 was heading for Bristol Temple Meads from Penzance.

Visited the South Devon Railway again this weekend. Some old favourties and a few new ones.

GWR 2-8-0 No. 3803 undergoing restoration at the SDR.



0-6-0 Pannier Tank No. 6412 at Totnes on the SDR



Class 25 No. D7612 at Buckfastleigh on the SDR



Hall Class No. 4920 'Dumbleton Hall' still awaiting restoration at Buckfastleigh on the SDR.



Industrial Loco ' Glendower' awaiting restoration at Buckfastleigh on the SDR



0-6-0 Pannier Tank No. 1369 on shed at Buckfastleigh on the SDR. Note the bell, from it's time at Weymouth Harbour.



1369 & 3205 being shunted by 6412 at Buckfastleigh on the SDR



Class 37 No. 6975 entering Staverton on the SDR with a Driver Experience train



Class 25 No. D7612 on shed at Buckfastleigh on the SDR



Class 37 No. 6975 running round at Totnes on the SDR.

Sorry for the delays in adding new pics. Today was the first Steam Special of the year, the GB10  and it was being hauled by No. 34052 'Lord Dowding' and No. 46100 'Royal Scot'. 'Lord Dowding' is in fact 'Braunton'. Hope to get more tomorrow when they return from Penzance and take on water at Plymouth.

I was told that 563 is now on display on the Swanage railway, I can hopefully get over there in the next few days and get some pics, weather permitting.
