I wonder if the mod's that have their email addresses could contact them to let them know they're missed?
I was thinking that if members were to nominate people that were missing, an email could be sent to them rather than going through the whole lot.

Breaker of Things

Following Alan's emails we saw a small number of users come back and check in, some have stayed around and continue to check back.
In general content drives engagement, the more the people who are here post the more likelihood others and new members will come and stay.
Obviously there are some who may not like the new layout or find it difficult to work with compared to the old forum/other forums although i feel like for the most part this new forum is largely on par with what else is out there.
As always if there's things that you guys would like or think may help engagement call it out - I'm happy to look and see if technically it can be done and then pass it onto the mods for a call on whether it should be included.
Ultimately a forum lives and dies on it's content, if we've got regular updates on stuff people are interested in they'll come back and hopefully feel encouraged to contribute.

I haven't popped in here for a week or so, as summer here is too hot and far too busy with our holiday guests for railway modelling, although I sometimes find a little time at the work bench to continue a small Metro build, which has just got first primer and paint on the cab interior.
Like has been mentioned above, summer will keep many away with other activities, so enjoy the summer everyone and we can get back to our railways later in the year.
Oh and John Dew is alive and well and looking forward to his Accurascale Siphons, winging their way to Vancouver.
Best,
Bill
At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

I never log out so no idea why I wasn't showing up. Anyway, I'm still alive and kicking and have posted several times since this thread was started. However, I do admit to not being as active as I used to be - summer is always a bad time for my modelling but now winter is here, maybe things will change a bit.
