An alternative to soldering on wires is to crimp on two female socket pins removed from a standard servo connector.

No not the pens, the plastic tops. . Cut off the top to the  size you want, glue  a small washer to the bottom, drill small hole in the top, paint, bobs your Aunty

Look at the Snuff MIll Building…the wall light on there is an idea of Max's, a 3mm led pushed through a 3mm washer and the legs bent carefully to form the 'bracket'.

I'm still following along Doug - albeit very slowly……………

Other "projects" - ideas coming from SWMBO - have taken over much of the spring so far this year so model railways have taken very much of a back seat.

I'm trying to relieve that situation but the external forces are so very powerful ……………………….
