Building a coach from connoisseur kit in 7mm

Hi Eric,

Rather than hijack David's thread, just try googling '4mm brass railway kits', as there are many suppliers out there, some more complex than others and some specialising on locomotives, coaches or wagons.

Why not start a new thread and tell us what you would like to build and are happy to try. You will need some soldering skills for any brass kits, but many are quite straightforward.

Sorry Eric, as no criticism intended to yourself, but rather more concerned for a load of responses that could easily ensue from such an interesting question. There are many here who build 4mm and 7mm scale kits for various kinds of stock, hence the suggestion for a separate thread.

That's a rattling good paint finish David, well done. Will you be fitting out the interior? It's amazing how much detail you can create with 7mm scale.

Thanks Bill - it’s a double edged sword! Lots you can see , so lots to add. Yes, this one has an interior on the way - the kit maker has a bespoke one for it.

Excellent David, even buttoned seats in third class and yes, very much a twin edged weapon! 

Hope you get framed prints on the partitions above the seats - I left those off my last 4mm build.
