I must confess to being less structured, as my plans are broader and more general (but at least they do exist).
One thing that's mentioned and I now find indispensible, is the use of a camera to record my "worK in progress". It's so much easier to see the good and the bad when photographs are studied and not the "live" model.

An even better way (which I use for my paintings) is to hold your model in front of a (largish) mirror and anything that's not quite right will be immediately apparant.

My workbench is currently a table which has to be cleared away at least twice a day - maybe that's why I don't spend much time modelling !! The layout (or what there is of it so far) is still in the garage - much to SWMBO's annoyance because her car lives outside !!! But then so does mine I keep telling her but hers is a soft-top so it ought to be inside in winter. It (the layout) will be moved into the attic over the next few days if I get time - then I can use the garage for my workbench !!!!!! :roll: :roll: :roll:
