New member with more ambition than skill
James here, just joined so saying a quick saying hello.Having wanted a layout for many a year, I've finally just made a start on a 5-3-3 inglenook. I'll post some details in the small layouts section where it'll probably soon become apparent that my skills don't quite match my ambitions.

Although I've only just made a start on the layout (Tescbury's Storage & Distribution in the Small Layouts, Planks and Micros section) I've been a long-term reader and watcher of various railway modelling mags and youtubes, so am hopefully armed with at least some idea of what I'm doing and how to go about it. Time will probably be the judge of that, so please, wish me luck :)

I had to "Google" modelling skills to see what they are. I now realise why I didn't know !!!
