My first post
Hello YMRC,I'm Aunuli. It's been a year after I regained my love of model trains. I model N scale North American stuff from every era. I have a sizable collection of rolling stock and locomotives both diesel and steam. I tend to try and collect unique locomotives as well as buy old locomotives and update them to modern standards. I'm here mostly for tips on updating my older equipment, ideas for what to do as I start making myself a layout, and also to share my progress on both updates to locomotives and layout. I also have some interest in adding some Aussie and European locomotives to my collection. With all that said, glad to be here!

I like your idea of building a layout to display your collections and give them a run. This also provides appropriate settings for realistic photographs of unique stock, which are such interesting subjects to support and research, which many enthusiasts will never see in model form.
Looking forward to seeing more of what you fancy.
Best,
Bill
At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)
