How are they wired
Hi,I've bought a couple of Peco electrofrogs long X Ings and can't get my head round how they are wired.
I've read some of the explanations in Ian Mortons books brut it's not sinking in. I'm thinking with regards to frog polarity etc.
I would be operating my points etc DC and using Cobalt motors.
Can anyone givean idiots guide. Preferably not just saying how to wire, but the reasoning behind it.
Cheers for now.
Toto
Sorry, I realise there is no moving parts, but is there still some requirement to change frog polarity and if so, how ???
Hope I'm being clear

Here the DP switch centre contacts are filling up with red and black from the track supply, and depending on which position it is set to, send red or black to the appropriate frog.
Brian is a genius, much respect!
Good luck,

I'll see if I can applythattheory in my head when I have a copy of the wiring schematic up on the screen.
Sometimes the simplest explanations are the best.
