Hi,

I'm still at the planning and accumulating stages of my layout and would like to include a coal mine / pit head with the head gear etc in oo scale but I am having mega problems trying to locate a good quality kit.

A lot of the big boys have either discontinued their kits or seem to be permanently out of stock.

Can anybody assist in locating me a good kit based on a British prototype.

I would be grateful for any assistance.

I built my own using odds and bobs around the layout room.  I used lattice girder and I built my own winding gear.  However I have now found a new source for the winding gear at   http://www.comstockcarshops.com/MINING%20PRODUCTS.htm I will



soon replace them. with these.

It's there Gary (and looks quite good) but no details or "Add to Cart" option …………..maybe it's not a stock item ……:roll::roll:
