Sand Stone Rocks  painted, weathered and 'planted'. Still lots to do but at least the extension is starting to look some thing like.


I built the rocks using polystyrene and polyfiller plus a little air drying clay.


Under coated in white
Top coat Sandstone masonry paint
Weathered using runs of Citadel Reikland Flesh and Agrax Earth.

Agreed - very impressive indeed.  I like the cave dwelling and also, the sulking couple not talking to each other - is he about to jump off ?

Great spot on top of the hill for trainspotting or bird-watching ( no not that sort of bird-watching)

I have just finished the top and face of the sand stone rocks. I have still to finish cave (I am adding a Stalagmite made from plastic fork prongs and a light).

There is a 'bit of a flap on' at the moment, Lavender the lamb has managed to get herself stuck on a ledge, her worried mother looks on as a rescue is carried out……..







All bushes added now, I wanted some of the rock showing……..

Love the rescue scene and the sheep watching from the cliff edge.

I am very pleased to announce that the rescue of Lavender the Lamb was very successful and she is now safely back with her mother………
