Oh, Dr Beeching what have you done?
There once were lots of trains to catch, but soon there will be none.
I'll have to buy a bike, 'cos I can't afford a car.
Oh, Dr Beeching what a naughty man you are!

Hi Kev,

If you use hd foam score the ruts with a craft knife, spray with a rattle can of the desired color, instant ruts as the solvent attacks the scores faster than the smooth surface. Same principle for ploughed fields.

I just recently did this track. The base is real sand, laid to the total width of the road, with a bead of glue run along the middle and some Woodland Scenics turf added. The grass on the railway side is a mix of Woodland Scenics colours and textures (coarse and fine) - soil mix, earth blend, green blend, medium green and also a little fine ballast.

The tall grass and weeds is from a Mininatur grass mat (pasture with weeds).

Like the look of the track Jeff. It's given me an idea to put on my layout, thanks!
