I have often wondered how the word 'quoins' is pronounced.  Does it sound like 'coins'?  And before someone else says it, I decided not to mention 'groins'.

Looks like someone went through with a wheel barrow with metal wheel rim.  lots of door threshold in Spain show two tracks where carts went through .  They may have been cut deliberately to center up the cart (donkeys would not know would  they?).

Yes it sounds like 'coins' Terry. Phonetically it would be 'kwoyns'.

I spent 45 years in construction and I've never heard it pronounced other than as kwoynes.
