My father has just started collecting his 00 model railway and would really like to base it on Wymondham where he is from - i would really like to buy him a Wymondham Market Cross replica to put in his scenery but I cannot find anything anywhere but I really don't know where to start to look (i've tried Google!)
Could anyone point me in the right direction please?
Kind regards, Clare

I very much doubt that you will be able to buy a model of it though unless someone could scratch build it for you and sell it to you.
Whenever I write a letter to someone, I add a footnote briefly explaining Ohm's law. It's my P.S. de resistance.

I too believe that it would have to be built from scratch.
Too make it an extra special gift you could scratch build it yourself.
The only tricky bit might be the roof but I can make you a template drawing you could use.
In the index on this forum there are tutorials in building such structures in both card and plastic and there would be plenty of help from the modellers on here.
There are a few inexpensive tools you will need and I'd suggest starting by building a small shed or line side hut first as practice.
Oh… And beware…. It's a slippery path to a fun hobby.

I've had a look at pictures and that is quite a tricky build for a beginner - especially without drawings.
Also, reference is difficult as all photo's seem to be taken from the same side and who knows what goes on at the back?
It might be possible to get line drawings and elevations from the Town Hall or somewhere but it's a long shot.
Having said that, it would make a great focal point on a layout.

I had it in the back of my mind that Perry had done one in the past.
