Just a quick appreciation of this texture that I have tried in the past and not taken up until I have tried it, on thinner paper, well wetted with solvent free glue and stuck, when stuck onto an uneven support, such as this roughly carved hard foam. This seems to avoid the less than realistic flat, plane surface, and when damp and soft can be almost moulded up and over a shape such as this small piece of wall. I have printed it with a slight reddy tinge to match my scene.

It says a lot for JW's work that this looks [IMHO] quite good, even befre I start to dent and distress the surface.

The SDR should be opening for the 17th May. I have been working 2/3 days per week at Buckfastleigh Carriage and Wagon works, currently based in the Loco Running sheds for about 5-6 weeks, hopefully getting one or two seats-on-wheels ready for service.

The crossing gate [at Staverton] smashed by a drink driver last year is in course of replacement and we shall be double manning the X-ing box intil it is up and working again.

It remains to see if my eye-isght will get me through the Railway Medical on 21st April, I was passed last year hoping to get a ticket for B'fast box under my belt before cataracts potentially knock it on the head, but my most recent eye-test has shown no further deterioraton, so touch wood!
