Has anyone built the Scalescenes canal wharfe boxfile layout ?

If so, could you please give me the footprint of the left hand building - the one with the clapboard crane shute sitting over the canal ?

I can see from the kit details, the overall footprint but it doesn't give the individual buildings.  I think I may have a site for the one mentioned above.  I don't want to spend £10 and then find out it won't do what I want …………..

Many thanks in advance.

Never got around to starting mine Peter.

Been taking a break from model railways, as there are too many other life things going on.

Have you thought of emailing John, support@scalescenes.com

I could ceertainly do that Ed and it had crossed my mind.  However, I assumed he was a busy man and, as my question wouldn't be a life changer for him, thought I'd ask on here first.  :thumbs

Sorry to hear you're allowing "other things" to get in the way of your modelling but no doubt you'll come to your senses before too long ………………… :mutley :cheers

Alas, it's not for that Chris - I just thought that particular building might fit an available site near my viaduct but don't want to spend £10 to find out …..

Hello Peter.  I have the model printed but unbuilt as yet.  The brick frontage measures 184mm from the corner to the end of the building including stone quoins.  The end width of the hoist i.e the depth of the building is 40mm.  Are these the measurements you wanted?

Thanks Terry.

Not sure what you mean by "from the corner"……..

I think I'm right in assuming there is a building across the back of the boxfile then this building butts up to that.  It's just this building I'm after excluding the one at the back.

If that's what your measurements relate to, then that's brilliant and thank you !

That's right Peter.  By corner I meant where it abuts the building at the rear.

Excellent Terry - many thanks.

It will fit the site I had in mind so I'll pass some shekels on to Mr. Wiffen …… :cheers
