Train Window

Hi All

I have just altered the start up speed  , On a Hornby Flying Scotsman .

 Using Train Programmer.

On returning to Train Controller , I have found the engine throttle ,

and the brake controls have both disappeared ,from the Train Window.

In place of the throttle control , It now shows SYSTEM 1 .

The brake control is now empty .

I can find no reference to this in either the Train Controller or

Train programmer manuals , or in this or RR&Co forums.

Have Anybody any ideas on what I have done ?

I am using RR&Co  Gold , NCE Power House Pro .

Hi Ted

Select the problem train window by clicking it

In the operations tool bar there is an icon like a computor screen…."Assign control  to computor system" …..click on it and that should do the trick

( note; there is a second icon next to it  "assign control to digital system" . You can toggle between these icons if you want to run a train with your DCC throttle.)

If this doesnt work:

open engines and trains
Select the problem train………Ctrl/C to copy
Select the next or any train….Ctrl/V to paste
At the top of the page will be an exact copy of the problem engine except there is an asterisk in front of the name.
Delete the original entry
Amend the name of the copy by deleting the asterisk
Open a new train window for the "new" train

Hope this helps

Hi John .
You have saved the day again .
I did as you  suggested  and reassigned the engine to the computer
Now  every thing is back to normal .
 thank you again

Glad it worked Ted
It's not documented and it took me a few years before I discovered the icons ………….my original solution was the copy and delete route which is a bit clunky

Copying an engine like that is quite handy if you have two identical locos it saves entering all the data………even if they have the same chip I still profile them both though
