Buildings in black & white.
Built in anticipation that a client of mine will want these for his coastal layout. Two typical B & B establishments with no smoking in rooms. No loose women. Doors locked at 10. Breakfas 6am - 6. 10am. Porridge extra. Pay in advance. Vacate room by 6. 15am.Don't like it ? Tough.Cheers.

Mind you, with no loose women allowed that'll be the only knocking up being done I suppose
Delightful as always Allan.

As the others have said, these are absolutely superb, and I feel like I could open one of those doors and walk into a scene of genteel luxury, with salt air wafting past and mingling with the smell of tea and scones with cream.
Heavy sigh!

Allan, one thing I want to know, how you do the roof tiles ?? I really like the ruffed up effect on the tiles.

There is a very good reason they are black and white…, it's the colour that styrene sheet comes in !

Later Gary I'll put up a step-by-step on roof tiling - if I can find it in my files !
Cheers.

It usually takes about four days to build something like this as there's very little texturing to do - just black and white styrene and a bit of colouring with the roof tiles.

It would take me that long just to cut out the window glazing!
I guess if you were doing it for a living you would develop techniques to speed the process pretty quickly.
