Railside streams and culverts

Wondering if anyone has prototypical examples or photos of stone/brick culverts or small stone bridges under rail lines. 

And small streams next to tracks. How close is the closest they would have been, historically speaking. 
Thinking that probably my layout won’t be that prototypical but I would love to see some photos of this situation to get ideas.

If topographically necessary, streams could be tight up against railway lines - the latter being supported on some kind of retaining wall - stone or brick depending on the local building material.  The same goes for rivers although they would try hard to avoid areas where flooding was a problem.
