Banbury Station, April 2018

Hi All,

Found this GWR buffer stop still lurking at Banbury Station. Bull head construction, located at the end of probably the only remaining section of GWR track in a disused part of the station. All the other GWR track has been removed. Note the wear on the lower piece of rail.

If a piece of rail could tell you its history  :hmm   Wonder how many thousands of wheels it took to ware that down ?

Nice one Nigel

Cheers
