For anyone near York on Sunday morning, might be worth a look.

That should be interesting Ed - worth a few photographers turning out I'd guess.  :thumbs

Alas, I'll be trying to guess who will be the next French President - or more importantly, how he/her and Brexit might effect me ………………. :hmm

I saw it on TV and to be honest, other than seeing Flying Scotsman, I was rather underwhelmed ………….

So there are 2 current locomotives and one from the next generation     …………. the really interesting bit was wondering how in heavens name they managed get permission to completely close the ECML for around 10 miles.

I suppose it was all a publicity stunt - they'd make us more proud of our railways by running the trains on time and making them affordable ………………..

Sincerely,

Grumpy Old Man
