Free Google Chrome extension
Despite kind members advice in 'oldifying' photos, I haven't been too happy with my results, as I have been trying to get a 'out of an old book look '.However, 'Cheapstamatic', a Google Chrome extension looks very interesting, and let me come up with this result, straight out of an Ahearn book….might suit you too?

Hi, Bob.
Lots of people here like to snap their work in B+W, but this does let you really 'age' pictures, wouldn't you agree? I've certainly 'maxed' the effects, but it can be used more subtly, sepia, even the 'Kodachrome' pinky shots or imitation Polaroid. And who said a camera never lie?!

On a more serious note, that looks like an interesting programme Doug. It certainly looks "old". I presume one has to have Google Chrome installed - does that mean "ordinary" Google doesn't operate ? I understand there are a few problems, particularly on here, with Chrome …………:roll::roll:

Hmmmm :hmm A bit grainy Mr Dickson - try a slower film and either dodge the middle bit or burn in the edges then it might make a half decent representation of your mill……….

Hi, Peter,
You are right in that Chrome doesn't support inserting pictures on YMR, so I do that on I.E.. It does make browsing faster I think, it also keeps my 'most visited' and add-ons on pages reached by opening tabs at the top instead of looking in 'Bookmarks' or 'Favourites'.
Cheers,
Doug
