This morning (Sunday), I took Wendy and Blossom to our local beach (Seacliff), so Wendy could paddle her kayak.

That should be enough BP's for a new loco?

We came home at 9.30 a.m., as it's going to be hot again today.

Anyone thinking of emigrating?

Now that should easily be enough for a new loco Max but coming home at 9.30 am might mean it's a small loco ………….unless you cooked her a full English breakfast when you got home ………..:thumbs

Those shots remind me of the North Sea just off Tynemouth - it's wet and flat there too ………….:cheers:cheers

Hang on, Peter.  We arrived at 7.30.
Anyway - in O scale there's no such thing as a small loco.  :mutley

A couple of hours away from the layout! Max! What were you thinking! At least a loco I would have thought.

Blossom looks like she's having fun.

Mind you, an hour on the water is enough to keep Tracy happy too, but if I go to the effort of getting this beast down I want at least half a days use out of this Old Town.

Cheers

Snap, pushing 40° here as well. On the "F" scale of course. The water on the lake is wet as well, although the geese seem a bit hesitant about getting their feet wet.

Thanks for those links Dave. (they needed a bit of tweaking but I got them both to work in the end :thumbs)

An interesting, and expensive, rebuild but she is a beautiful loco and even if there's little left of the original one, the name is iconic and belongs to the right type of loco. :thumbs

Hehe… BBQ range hood, yup! :thumbs
Only place I could put it where it's out of the weather and out from under foot. It's hanging from cantilevered steel beams that run half the length of the house and form the frame for the upstairs balcony. Getting it up and down with rope is pretty easy. Getting it from the patio to the top of the car needs two people. Stops me from going for solo paddles.
