There are still a few of these tin tabernacles around although this one has seen better days. It's just outside the Dolyhir quarry, so presumably was for the quarry and railwaymen. Dolyhir station building is now used by the quarry.
















 

We have Churches built just like that in some parts of Australia where building materials are limited to what you can carry, or if there is no stone available !
