A few pictures of better class terraced houses (these are in Caersws). The corrugated sheeting to the weather wall is a fairly common feature of houses and farmhouses in the mid Wales area.

interesting swastika like brick pattern to the front elevation.

Alan, I believe that the design originates back to the Roman era and was a good luck sign.  The Nazis appropriated it and reversed it, I believe.

hi Terry.yes i realise the nazis didn't invent the swastika but it just seemed unusual.

…….I believe they were even on U.K. Govt. savings bonds at one time…!

it actually looks like two question marks back to back.

Timing is perfect, not that I am building terraced houses but I wanted some good colour pictures of red brick for New Waltham aka Grimsby Station
