Point control
I have ordered a Cobalt AD-8fx control board for my layout. I intend to use Peco surface mounted and Seep PM2 point motors with control from the Digitrax controller. Looking at the service/instruction sheet only shows Cobalt motors being used!Could someone show me the wiring for this set up please? AD-8fx to Seep/Peco motors please??
Thanks
Ron

Are the seep motors not analogue motors ? If so I'm not so sure they'll go with the Cobalt switch.
Hope I'm wrong.

Plenty capacity with the Digitrains then. If you could copy up the instructions off the cobalt unit and the swept could be helpful.

The 'S' in the product number indicates 'solenoid' and the 8 is a bank of 4 x ads-2's on one pcb (4x2=8). I can't find a wiring diagram in my archive for the ads-8 but this one for the ads-2 should suffice. The good thing about dcc concepts decoders is that they (the decoders) have terminals marked with what they are for so it shouldn't prove at all difficult… They will work on DC at 12 - 14v or DCC on the bus at 16vAC.
