These are pictures of the former steam mill in Chester. It's situated on the banks of the Shropshire Union canal and within 1/4 mile of the station. Like many of these buildings it has been converted into flats but externally at least it hasn't been too much altered.

I wish modern architecture was generally more artistic and a bit less functional.
Just look at all that marvellous decorative brickwork, which they didn't need to do but added anyway to improve the look.
Much better than a clad warehouse on an industrial estate!
