They really are "coaches" in the true sense of the word. Never mind the grafitti Alan, can you imagine what that coachwork would cost - even if it was acceptable to use teak nowadays ……..?

I doubt that the lightweight power units today would manange to lift more than 2 or 3 of them out of the platform and certainly not up the hill at KX!!Frm the halcyon days of rail travel.Can you imagine if they were in use these days,it wouldn't be long before they were covered in grafitti.
