Just a suggestion - you can save yourself some work if you put all of your photos in the one post.
Just hit Enter twice after the photo and bung in the next one.

A very familiar scene indeed. You might want to put in some cross members between the legs just to add a wee bit more rigidity. …….. Just a thought. Excellent stuff though.

One thing I may add to this, is to hinge the baseboard (if possible) about 4"- 6" out from the wall. This way, any structures such as station buildings, goods sheds etc, will not be crushed against the wall when it is folded up.
Or the other option is to remove all the furniture and have no visitors staying over !

Thanks for the comments and tips guys all are very welcome. The difficult thing is not to over use my overdraft. May be utilizing my ebay account in the coming months to its errr shall we say full potential.

the layout itself will develop over time as you get your head together on it .Do you have any preference towards steam or diesel or is the jury still out on that one ?
