Found this sight for 08 shunters,also many other locos and some layouts very good as well. showing how they make them etc also various ones weathered and not weathered also some with LED lights.
Found it interesting myself.

There is also other various things on the site, some lovely layouts as well.
As for the thud, well you can not let those 08's drop off the table like that, they are so good looking and sexy and gorgeous sorry got carried away there, do you get the picture i just love the 08's :D :D

I was lucky enough to be given one of these Bachmann Brassworks 08 class models (factory sample believe it or not). It will become a Victorian Railways F class shunter, which were essentially the same thing as adapted for use in Australia. Unfortunately the one I have is the late version, whereas the early version is closer to the Australian ones. But I'm happy to put up with this discrepancy for the price. :lol:

There are not many locos that are O gauge you would get less than £400
if any to be honest.
Real world is really if you have an O gauge layout you are far less likely to have loads of locos which many OO modellers tend to have.
if i had spare space i would like to build a small O gauge layout but trouble is you cant have everything any extrra space i am creating is already assigned to OO expantion.
