Hi,

Great shots of the 04. I love these wee shunters and thankfully have 3 or 4 of them to scoot about Rosebuddy when things get going. You've covered them well.

Rosebuddy is still on the move with the rather repetitive soldering tasks being done at the moment but it all adds to the greater cause. I've done a bit this weekend and will probably be back on all four cylinders next weekend again so the posts will hopefully start coming thick and fast.

I'll be consent rating on the hidden DMU route at night through the week as this us something I can work away on with Anyrail or what ever. I think it may take the shape of a high level line running through or over part of the layout although I am also looking at suggestions by Gormo and Gary earlier on in the thread.

I'm all packed for returning back up north in the morning. I took today off as an additional days holiday to catch up with home life before disappearing to work again.

Delighted to see your photographs, now, see if you can get any 22's or 29's although I'm not sure if any made it into preservation. Probably not.

Cheers for now

Toto.

Managed to grab these two today (27/9/2014) alongside the Plym Estuary.

No. 57310 Pride of Cumbria & 57604 Pendennis Castle on Empty Stock Working from Plymouth Laira Depot.

66099 & 66168 on Network Rail Sandite Train heading towards Plymouth. This could well be going to treat one of the Branch Lines. It's getting towards that time of the year again. Probaly see it again tomorrow looking very mucky indeed.

Hope to have a couple tomorrow. Till then.

Found out that the Rocket will in fact be operating next weekend, but within the station confines and will be giving rides. I didn't really expect them to let it loose on the normal runs especially as there are two very steep inclines on them. Am looking forward to seeing it and anything else that comes to sight.

Thanks Toto. By the way have upgraded my camera. I now have the Nikon D3200 as well as the D3100. Change is from 14MP to 24MP. Make a large difference for the nature side of it.

An excellent camera. I read the low down on it and I am sure that it will serve you well.

I took delivery of my macro ring flash and once I get out and pick up some batteries will give it a trial run. If I manage anything halfway decent, I'll post something up.

Happy trialling with the new camera.

Cheers

Toto.

Caught this today. It's Albert from the Plym Valley Railway on the Halloween Express. Full of screaming kids in grotesque costumes.

That's it till next weekend when I visit the South Devon Railway. It's a half-price weekend so can't miss that.
