Great pics ! :thumbs

Green diesels do look better than blue diesels, even if they do have a yellow warning panel on the front of them. ;-);-)

I'm intrigured by the red/brown paint on the door of the Class 08. Is that normal or is it under repair ??

Cheers, Gary.

I never know there Gary, they are always doing things. I'll check back on some earlier pics and see. I think it is due a repaint over the winter so they could be doing prep work for that.

Just looked back on a pic of it I took in February this year. The door was framed in brown then as well so it must be right. I have a feeling that it is in fact an 09 rather than an 08.

Off to the South Devon Railway again tomorrow as they have a 'Behind the Scenes' and Vintage Transport Day. Several trains are running so I will see what I can find. Pics up sometime Sunday. Not going to bother with the Royal Duchy on Sunday. It is Tangmere again.

Just found about a bit more about the Bodmin & Wenford Victorian weekend in the middle of October. The Guest Locomotive will be Rocket courtesy of the NRM. Looks like a good excuse to go along. Also running will be the Beattie Well Tank and the T9. It will be interesting to see how Rocket copes with the grades up to Bodmin General. Dates 11/12th October.
