Hi Alan,i finally measured my layout height and it is 29 inches because it is built on top of a desk and bookcases with battens on the walls.I also suffer with sciatica so understand your problems with your back as i did all my wiring on my back and it's not easy.This actually works for me quite well.Your baseboards are looking good.
