Recently returned from my FIL's 90th birthday bash in UK, he was diagnosed with the same in 2002, also diagnosed early and he's still going strong.

Enjoyed the chat the other night sorry had to cut short as I had to jump back in the driving seat at Barnard Castle. Looking forward to seeing progress on the new N gauge layout :thumbs

No problem Dave I used to take that route through Barnard castle and Bishop Aukland to home but figured out it was quicker going straight on to scotch corner and up the A1m :lol:

Due to the road past the museum in Shildon being closed we went via Piercebridge then dropped into Aycliffe from Heighington rather than the usual route through Staindrop/ West Auckland/ Shildon. :roll:

Hi all
Had the operation last week they removed the prostate and two lymph nodes near my pelvis ,done by robotics the surgeon said it went better than expected ,I was in hospital for three days now on the road to recovery feeling better each day ,will have the catheter removed on the 10th of this month and i can pee for england even though it,s into a bag:lol:

Don't worry about peeing into a bag (presumably it's not a paper one :roll:), as long as you're peeing for England, that's fine.
