Well after having trouble with the water works over the past few months went to the docs had all the tests done PSA was slightly up went for boipsy last week and got the results today which proved positive for prostate cancer bit of a shock but half expected it have to go for a bone density scan and MRI on friday then radiotherapy and hormone treatment ,how do I feel? well pyscally I am fine mentally bit in limbo but no good dwelling on it doc says there is treatment so not all doom and gloom ,my brother in law has lived with it for 3 years and reading Bobs journey and others on here has helped me come to terms with it ,will keep all informed with my journey .

Hi Brian,
Sorry to hear your news and I wish you well, it always comes as a bit of a shock, it certainly did for me!
Seems as if your possible treatment will be similar to mine and 7 and a half years from diagnosis I feel fine and My PSA is stable at just under 2.

Hi Brian, sorry to hear your news. Keep thinking the positive vibes going though. A very good friend of mine was diagnosed it and he came through OK, as we all hope and wish you do.

Sorry to hear of your problem Brian but keep thinking positive and don't let the b*****d get you. A friend of mine had it but has just recently been given the 'all clear' five years down the line.
